Let's Pick a Card 1-3-17
I drew 3 cards from the Fairy Tarot deck and posted earlier on Facebook, asking everyone to choose a card from the left (#1), center (#2) or right (#3). Here is the results of that pull:
#1 (Left): Release. This is a very powerful Major Arcana card that traditionally is called the "Death" card in a regular tarot deck. This does not mean death in a physical sense, but letting something go, as in a release. This can mean a release of someone or something in your life that no longer serves you. It could even be a way of life that is not healthy for you anymore. Many relationships go through ups and downs and there is nothing wrong with just letting it go (whether it be a romantic relationship or even a friendship) when it is no longer working in your life. All endings make way for new beginnings...just like the start of a new year. We had to let go of the old one to allow the new one to take place. It is time to move on. What a magical concept! Don't let it upset you, just know that when you get rid of that which no longer serves you, you pave the way for greatness.
#2 (Center): Seven of Spring. This card is all about action. Take action. Take a stance. Stand up for what you believe and don't back down when challenged. The beautiful fairy on the card is holding a bow and arrow and is in every way showing her readiness to take over. Be assertive and courageously stand up for yourself. Sevens are all about soul searching, so it could be about something you believe in, deep in your heart, with which others might not agree. It isn't about them, though. They have their own path, and their own battles to fight. This one is all about you and what others think is not important. Be kind to yourself, and stay the course. Move forward and learn from the situation.
#3 (Right): The Wheel. This is another of the Major Arcana cards. The Wheel is a card of moving forward. It is a card of luck and things that you have been waiting for are finally happening. It could mean travel or even a new car! It is time for hoped for changes to take effect. The chain of events may have started, but it is up to you to keep them going. Watch for the signs and act upon them without delay. Surround yourself with positive people that can help and cheer along the way. Stay optimistic and enjoy the rewards!
