Magical Moments...30 days of GRATITUDE...Day 1
Last year, I blogged my 30 day Gratitude experiment and titled it Magical Moments. It was really uplifting, going through my day FINDING the magic in nature, every day life, and even lifes challenges. I was guided to do the project after listening to several podcasts suggesting this was a way to see things differently and invite the magic into your life. Over the last couple of days, this very same idea keeps creeping in through various means, and I think it is time to reinvoke the project.
For the project, every morning wake up and declare something along the lines of "Something magical happens to me today and every day". Do this before doing anything else. Give thanks for the day that is about to begin. Then, take 5 minutes to journal 3 things that were magical in your life the day before. It is best if you share your magical moments with a couple of friends who are also participating in the project, or include them in the comments below. Here is the NEW twist to the project: when you encounter a challenge, give it THANKS and find the magic in the challenge. Challenges make us grow as a person, they make us re-evaluate our lives and our purposes. Reacting out of emotion and fear does not allow you to blossom. If you give each challenge a big dose of gratitude, it shifts the reality of the challenge. After the 30 days, look back over your challenges and see how they have evolved, how you have evlolved and how your perception of the challenges have changed.
Today, I give thanks for the day to come and the day that has passed. I invite magic into my life in all directions of time and space and see the magic in every moment as it happens.

Magical Moments of Yesterday
- I am thankful for the challenges that are brought into my life and my ability to navigate them without fear or judgement. Instead of looking at my challenge as a way to bring me down, it has motivated me to move forward and continue sharing my gifts with others.
- Instead of focusing on the hurt that people bring into my life, I am sending thanks for the lessons I have learned in dealing with people and the strength that I have gained from that experience. A Relationships is meant to evolve and everyone should grow from the experience. It doesn't have to last forever and there is no need for sorrow when the relationship has run its course. It served its purpose, and now it is time to move on in a positive direction.
- Although Time appears to be a constant, it is really shifting in all directions. Instead of focusing on "not having enough time" MAKE TIME. Put your energy into what matters most and where you gain the most. Time is an abundance and I am thankful for every second I have been here and for every moment yet to come.
